The Design and Process
Designed to mimic and inspired by the gospel books of Durrow and Lindisfarne, but with a few later period pigments to give brighter blues . The designs are each drawn, inked with handmade iron gall ink and painted with egg tempera paint that is handmade with historic pigments. All of this on animal skin parchment.
The Prints
Each print is 8x10 inches and is matted to fit in an 11x14 inch frame. Our prints are produced using Epson Claria inks.
